Workshop 1 Online Engagement is LIVE!
Couldn't make it out to Riverview Hall? Never fear: it's not too late to share your priorities and ideas for Shreveport's future.
The Shreveport-Caddo Metropolitan Planning Commission (MPC) is excited to kick off the process to update the adopted Great Expectations: Shreveport-Caddo 2030 Master Plan. The updated plan and its community engagement process, One Shreveport, emphasizes the importance of a shared community vision to guide the future of the City of Shreveport.
One Shreveport will be a policy document that outlines the long-term vision for the growth and development of the city. It provides guidance to the City’s decision-makers in topics like land use and development, housing, economic development, transportation, parks and open space, utilities and community facilities, and more.
Throughout 2024 and early 2025, the MPC will work to facilitate a community-driven process that proactively invites residents, workers, and stakeholders in Shreveport to share their aspirations for the City’s future and weigh in on how these aspirations are translated to policy and projects.
